Many congratulations to Rita and Diogo. It was a stunning Portuguese beach wedding with beautiful locations and incredible attention to detail.

Rita and Diogo met in the UK but are both Portuguese so they had their wedding in sunny summer time Portugal.

Diogo, the groom, got ready at his family home which has beautiful views of their vineyard behind. He gave his friends Storm Trooper cufflinks and his own were of course Darth Vader ones! Rita, the bride, got ready at the beautiful countryside venue Quinta Do Juncal in Serra D'el Rei, Peniche.

The father of the bride took her to the ceremony on the back of his motorbike with a convoy of family cars behind beeping and waving in celebration as they went.

At the ceremony Rita's Dad and Step Dad walked her across the beach and down the sandy isle.

We captured a photograph of Diogo doing a "hulk smash" on the sand with his friends flying backwards from the force of it! We captured some beautiful photos of the families on the beach with lots of laughter tears of joy.

After the ceremony everyone headed back to the beautiful venue Quinta Do Juncal in Serra D'el Rei, Peniche. It'd a lovely countryside estate with lawns, a lake, swimming pool and a barn for dinner. The bride, groom, family and friends had all lovingly put the decor together themselves in the barn the night before. Even the younger kids had helped out with crafting pieces together and drawing decorations for the day. Rita and Diogo's first dance was to a song performed by their cousin and then Diogo joined him to sing to his bride for the second song.
